Internationally-acclaimed Brown Rudnick is a firm that has a strong private client practice. Its reputation management team based in Washington came into the limelight in recent years especially after helping Johnny Depp secure a favourable settlement in the star's publicised trial in 2022 against his former wife Amber Heard. The firm recently hired London-based Charlotte Harris from Kingsley Napley as lead European partner in the firm's brand and reputation arm, a solicitor who made her name in the UK's phone-hacking scandal when she took on News International on behalf of her clients.

The firm has over 250 lawyers across New York, London, Boston and California. It has deep historical roots in post-war 1940s Boston and New York City and was founded by four prominent lawyers from that era: Charles Rome, Matthew Brown, Alford Rudnick and Hirsh Feed.

The firm has recently been awarded the Planet Mark certification, an international sustainability progress marker founded by Prologis UK, for firms that are committed to measuring and reducing carbon emissions.
