No one slides through the upper echelons of London society quite like Nicholas Foulkes, author, cigar expert, horologist and effortless dandy.

Teetotal (‘All I have left is the fragrant blue smoke of the tobacco of Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo’), he has written books about cigars as well as watches and the luxury market in general. His passion for the cigar as an end-to-end product is as deep as it is fervent, and he often compares the myriad components that go into making a good cigar to the alchemy of great winemaking.

Having embraced new fashions, formats and platforms throughout his career,  Foulkes has launched a series of online cigar tastings with his son Max, which allow the pair to impart wisdom from ‘the ancestral hovel’ at a measured pace and with wit as well as expertise.
