John Evans founded strategic communications agency Hawthorn Advisors in 2013 and continues to advise a broad spectrum of international clients across a range of issues. 

He told Spear’s that ‘over the past 12 months the team has reached nearly 80 people, and the business continues to invest in innovative ways to develop its services through technology and research’.

Clients include many high-net-worth individuals, family offices as well as corporates such as Access Industries, News UK, Kering, ION and DLA Piper.

Of the firm’s growth, Evans said that they have ‘made some great hires across the consultancy, and the business continues to scale in new sectors and regions’. 

His outlook for the future is optimistic: ‘We look forward to another year supporting clients through interesting times, both in the UK and further afield.’
