In 2001, Colin Hampden-White, a trained quantity surveyor, decided to reroute and follow his passions by becoming a professional photographer. Quickly finding success, his portraits of great wine and whisky makers were later exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery and can be found in private collections worldwide.
His contribution to Scotch whisky has been recognised when he was made a member of the Keepers of the Quaich. He was also elected chairman of the Circle of Wine and Spirits Writers, and finds time to act as a presenter on Amazon’s The Three Drinkers show.
In 2019, Hampden-White joined Cask Trade, a cask marketplace for potential buyers and sellers, as its non-executive director and he believes that integrity and trust are at the very heart of the company.
