Spear's Review
At Blue Fin Vision, consultant ophthalmic surgeon Mfazo Hove serves a wide range of patients who wish to be free of glasses through cataract, lens replacement and laser eye surgery. He also has a specialism in treating conjunctival nevus, a freckle-like spot on the eye which causes discolouration.
With five clinics in and around London, Hatfield and Chelmsford, Blue Fin Vision allows patients to receive treatment at a time and place that is most convenient for them, and owns its own equipment.
'This means I get to choose all the equipment that we use, and it also means that I'm much more in control of how the service is provided, because the patient gets the hospital they want, and I get to choose the microscope and the diagnostic equipment,' Hove tells Spear's.
