Mauro Mattei, an Italian art collector himself, created the London and Milan-based BeAdvisors’ art arm in 2017 to combine his experience in tax and legal services with his deep passion for Renaissance art.

The department prides itself as a one-stop-shop for all art requirements, and provides clients with primary and secondary market assistance as well as strategic advice to galleries and artists worldwide. 

An important aim is to help clients achieve a positive presence in the art world. Mattei and his team also help with structuring marketing campaigns that best engage with the dynamic art market.

Mattei runs an art prize, the Mauro Mattei Art Trust Acquisition Prize, which supports a wide variety of emerging artists, many of whom are young and part of disruptive trends in the contemporary art world.
