haysmacintyre is an award winning, top 25 mid-tier firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors based in Central London, comprising 38 partners and over 350 staff. Our fee income has increased by 75% through organic growth over the previous five years. We consider this to reflect the high level of our client service, the culture within the firm, and our progressive outlook.

We are among only a few firms that bridge the gap between the larger firms, which do everything but may lack the personal touch, and smaller firms, which may only be able to provide a narrow range of services.

haysmacintyre was formed in 2001 when two long established London firms – Hays Allan and MacIntyre & Co – merged. As of 1 April 2019, haysmacintyre converted to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) – a further exciting step in our evolution as a top 25 accountancy firm.

Investigations, enquiries, and disclosures

The last few years have seen a significant increase in the number of HMRC investigations and enquiries into personal tax affairs. HMRC has wide-ranging powers to obtain information from third parties, including those overseas, which it compares to information disclosed on tax returns. Our tax disputes and resolutions team has extensive experience dealing with these requests on behalf of clients and returning favourable results.
