Sakhjit Randhawa

Spear’s Review

Advising UHNW clients buying and selling super-prime and luxury properties in London or the countryside is at the core of Sakhjit Randhawa’s practice. She was an equity partner at Charles Russell Speechlys, where she built up a business alongside Ian Cooke for 15 years before they both moved to Keystone Law. ‘I have the ability to focus on what I love to do – to look after our clients with a carefully structured and selected team to ensure we can offer the world-class personal service which our clients deserve,’ she says.

Randhawa and Cooke have successfully built up a high-profile client base, taking their role extremely seriously. ‘Each of us ensures that we drive every case personally, to provide the best possible service to our clients,’ says Randhawa.

Adviser Profile

Sakhjit provides residential property law advice to clients, UHNW and other wealthy individuals, trusts and companies buying and selling prime, super prime and luxury properties in London and the English Countryside. This role naturally requires her to travel extensively to maintain and build her relationships.

She has run and built the practice jointly with her business partner, Ian Cooke, who is also recognised as one of the leading experts in this field. Two world class Partners at this level with extensive expertise enables them to provide, with their team, a stella service to clients who often have complex and time sensitive deals. They both also advise many of the high-end Prime London property development companies on their sales of luxury apartments.

The deals they work on are not always straight forward: they are technical and complex with demanding deadlines. This complex work requires an ability to work through the various matters diligently and efficiently.

Many of the instructions are of incredibly high value, involving confidentiality requirements. Orchestrating a typical deal will involve client's private family offices, property agents, surveyors, tax advisers and private banks. Sakhjit says it is imperative that we work efficiently and collaboratively with all individuals and organisations involved. This approach comes very naturally and is one of our key strengths in building and maintaining excellent relationships.

Sakhjit's aims are:
1. Each individual is looked after to the highest standard regardless of the price of the property
2. All instructions are dealt with promptly and efficiently
3. Not to over complicate matters ensuring she has control on every deal
4. Ensure problems are solved without the need to worry clients
5. All due diligence and structuring work required is dealt with meticulously, efficiently and in a straight forward manner
