Nick Dogilewski of Exeter Partners has been providing consultancy, human capital services and exclusive executive search with a global reach for nearly 20 years. His client base mainly consists of investment banks, wealth management boutiques and family offices.

The successful entrepreneur took over his father’s recruitment business, revamped it, steered it through a financial crisis and has now run it for many years. He tells Spear’s that his firm collaborates with both financial institutions and the professionals within to ‘execute search mandates, consultancy and career counselling for those who seek it’.

Dogilewski tirelessly helps clients find the correct fit for them and has learned that though roles may differ, there is a core set of attributes all candidates need to succeed in the wealth industry: ‘It’s all about the strength of their relationships with clients,’ and whether they ‘can stand on their own two feet’ at smaller boutique practices.
