Professor Julian Teare is medical director of OneWelbeck Healthcare and chairman of the OneWelbeck Digestive Health group. Its new facility diagnoses and manages disorders of the gut, with an endoscopy service specialising in colonoscopy. Bowel or colon cancer affects one in 14 men and one in 19 women, and is highly preventable with a screening colonoscopy, usually performed from the age of 45.

The facility has been an instant success, with Professor Teare describing the OneWelbeck clinic experience as ‘so much better’ than private hospital alternatives. ‘The facility was created to make the process as easy and stress free as possible for any client – especially HNWs.’
