In addition to his capital markets and M&A work, Lee advises on the novel legal issues entrepreneurs and corporates might face when embarking on crypto asset and blockchain activities.

Recent work has included advising Watford FC on a groundbreaking tokenised equity raise – a first of its scale for an English football club – which Lee described as a ‘new and innovative spin’ on the traditional capital raise. He added that HNW investors are likely to be intrigued by the opportunity to purchase digital equity in the family-owned club.

The firm’s fintech team offers a wide range of services related to cryptocurrency, from advising clients on the legal aspects of initial coin offerings to crypto asset regulation, and it maintains strong links with ‘crypto-friendly’ jurisdictions.
