Art Partners Advisory founder Hailey Widrig works with a mix of family offices and private collectors, and does ‘quite a bit of consulting with finance firms and investment companies wanting to invest in the market in various capacities’, she tells Spear’s.

Widrig has a background in private equity but moved into the art world when she started working with a London-based family office. Now based in Paris, she offers art appraisals and valuations, including valuations under the American tax system. 

What motivates the financially and artistically minded Widrig? ‘I love working on different projects. One day I might be consulting for a project in Saudi Arabia working on cultural heritage, and the next day I might be speaking with someone about selling a painting, or going to see a studio.’
