Alex Head

For a whole host of blockbuster clients, Alex Head aims to deliver ‘food with impact’ that melds together a five-star service with haute cuisine. To name just a few, she has served Rihanna, David Attenborough, Hilary Clinton and the (then) Prince of Wales. 

Head’s expert team frequently cater for private parties and weddings, working to the tastes and requirements of a slew of esteemed clients, in addition to operating four restaurants and cafes across the capital – including a Mediterranean and British ‘Design Restaurant’ at Chelsea Harbour. 

Her business is aptly named – supporting an array of social causes and championing the employment of ex-offenders in the hospitality sector. Her business works with charities that spearhead prison rehabilitation programmes, with 10 per cent of her 90-strong team ex-offenders.

Before training at Ballymaloe Cookery School, Head sold sandwiches on the back of her bicycle at the age of 16. She then earned her culinary stripes in the restaurant trade before founding the catering business in 2011, which has since grown to become one of London’s premier catering companies.
