Emma Morris qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has worked exclusively in the world of complex family law and high value litigation since.

She has worked at several well-regarded City firms, including Wedlake Bell, Rooks Rider (where she was partner and head of family) and Gordon Dadds, before joining Burgess Mee in 2023. 

A well-rounded practitioner, Morris has particular expertise in private children cases, including those with a leave to remove angle. Her clientele is diverse and includes entertainment and media clients, business people and sports stars.

Morris has an M.Phil in criminology from Cambridge. An industry commentator notes that she 'works towards resolution not whipping up fees'.
