Overseeing legal teams in ‘offices from Glasgow to Gatwick’, Jeremy Raj is national head of the residential property division of Irwin Mitchell, which describes itself as the UK’s largest full-service law firm. 

Raj and his staff advise on all aspects of residential property with a focus on residential investment, portfolio acquisitions, landlord and tenant work, as well as personal conveyancing for UK and international HNWs. 

Formerly partner in residential property and head of private client at Wedlake Bell, Raj joined Irwin Mitchell in 2017 as London property head before quickly being promoted. He tells Spear’s: ‘My role is to lead, manage and inspire the residential property team, make sure we are on top of market conditions and developments, and run our business accordingly.’

Jeremy Raj is the National Head of Residential Property at Irwin Mitchell. His team forms part of the private wealth team which offers advice in all areas including anything a client might need in relation to residential property. He acts for property investment companies, UHNW individuals, leaseholders and lenders in the property sector.

Over the past year his team has dealt with over £100 million of Prime Central London new-build property, and over 3,000 individual conveyancing matters. With around 30 years in the sector, Raj has worked with overseas investors from across the world and has particular experience with high-end London property. He is regularly quoted in the national and property press and on television.
