As head of the trusts team in Irwin Mitchell’s Chichester office, Darran Fawcett provides trustees, executors and beneficiaries with accounting, taxation and administrative support. His team provides compliance services for a large number of trusts, assisting with specific trust accounting (or taxation) issues where required.

’I enjoy being able to provide solutions to trustees, enabling them to satisfy themselves that they are fulfilling their trustee responsibilities and duties,’ Fawcett tells Spear's. ‘Building relationships with our clients and understanding their needs is a particularly rewarding aspect of the job.’

Outside of his practice, Fawcett is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the treasurer of its Sussex branch.
