The personable lawyer is a cross-border operator who is based at Withers' Hong Kong SAR offices, a well-respected lawyer in the field of global private aviation. 'Counsel to extraordinary people with extraordinary machines,' reads his LinkedIn description. Surely enough, Jebely has advised clients on transactions which are worth 'well over' $20 billion in transactions – the vast majority of these cover jets with around 5 per cent of his practice also covering yacht transactions.
Formerly a private wealth partner at Pilsbury in Hong Kong, Jebely joined Withers as partner and global head of asset finance in 2022. He is founder and chair of the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation which launched at the Farnborough International Air show in July 2022. He is qualified to practice law in England, the US (New York and Washington State) and Canada (Ontario).
