James Charlton-Meyrick is a UBS executive director.

Charlton-Meyrick stepped in to lead the bank’s global family office division on an interim basis while waiting for new veteran hire, Michel Frey, to transition from Monaco to London, after Sofia Sool left UBS for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management after only four months in the pivotal senior position.

He comes highly recommended by a well-respected industry commentator who tells Spear’s he’s the top performer for UHNW clients at the bank since former UK head of wealth management, James Whittaker, left his role in October 2020 to expand Deutsche Bank’s UK ultra-high-net-worth department.
