Ian Pidgeon started his career more than 25 years ago, selling houses in West London to celebrities wanting to live near the BBC studios in West London. He moved on to the city’s ‘golden postcodes’ at Savills.
Today, he specialises in driving sales of London’s ‘very best trophy’ assets. ‘Teamwork is essential,’ he says, to ensure that the best buyers can get access to the best properties.
His professional hero is Victoria Mitchell, who went from being a receptionist at Savills to ‘becoming the first woman to sit on the board’. ‘She set the bar high in terms of customer service,’ Pidgeon says – a characteristic he emulates.
