Spear’s Review

Kevin Ellis is the senior partner of PwC in the UK, and since 2016 has served as the chair of the firm’s UK and Middle East alliance (for which he oversees operations in the region).

He first joined the company’s executive board in 2008 after a varied 25-year career mostly focused on business restructuring, helping organisations on the brink put together time-critical turnaround plans. That year, he became the firm’s head of advisory, before later becoming PwC’s UK managing partner in 2012.

PwC regularly tops the annual list of the UK’s largest graduate employers – offering about 1,200 positions to trainees each year, something which Ellis flies the flag for: he is a PwC-lifer, and first joined the firm as a trainee in 1984, before becoming a qualified accountant and making partner in 1996.
