Qualifying as an attorney in South Africa before training as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, James Wolfson appreciates the complexities of navigating multiple jurisdictions. With a specialty in multi-jurisdictional tax and estate planning, he assists international HNWs in moving their capital as freely as possible. 

In his role as head of tax, international trusts and wealth management at Healys, Woflson’s expertise comes from 30 years of experience in private client services. Having worked in the South African tax departments of the ‘Big Four’, six years for private banks and trusts in the Isle of Man and a further decade in Jersey within the trust industry, Wolfson is adept at understanding subtle differences in tax legislation across borders.
