Clive Robertson joined Healy’s in 2016 as a consultant, and is head of the Classic Car Group.

He and his team advise on commercial law relating to historic automobiles and motorbikes such as title and contracts, estate and inheritance tax planning and litigation and mediation in the event of dispute.

Robertson is adamant that good legal advice is essential to satisfactory classic car ownership, saying: ‘There has probably not been a more important time to make use of skilled and established legal advice. You’d not buy a house without a conveyancing solicitor, so why spend, potentially, more money, without similar professional advice and guidance?’

Clive takes his love of cars out of the office too, competing in the Mille Miglia race in Italy in 2022 in a 1955 AC Aceca-Bristol Coupe.
