Deepak Nagpal KC of 1 King’s Bench Walk advises and acts on behalf of a range of UHNW individuals in complicated matrimonial finance proceedings. His cases often have an international element, involving offshore structures and travel to jurisdictions including Hong Kong, while the assets of the barrister’s client base typically exceed £100 million, with some entrepreneurs and tycoons in the region of £1 billion. 

Articulate and known for his sharp intellect, Nagpal was appointed Queen’s Counsel (now King’s Counsel) in 2021, while he has appeared in a smattering of landmark decisions, including McFarlane and Gray v Work. When he’s not advocating for clients in courts, he often assists separating wealthy families in private FDRs, while he was invited to join the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law, where he is the only family law silk on the committee.
