Matthew Sudlow

At Strutt & Parker, Matthew Sudlow is Head of the Estates and Farm Agency department.

He joined the firm in 2007 following his graduation from the University of Reading, receiving a degree in real estate, and began his career as a chartered surveyor, involved in estate management, valuations, compulsory purchase, and sale and value purchase work.

He swiftly progressed to become associate partner and director. His current responsibility includes leading a team of brokers, all of whom specialise in high-value property across England and Wales. His own practice focuses on farms, country, and sporting estates in the south and south-east of England.

Many of his clients’ sales and purchases demand the utmost discretion and confidentiality, but Sudlow could confirm to Spear’s that ‘around half of the transactions [he is] involved with in any one year are conducted privately off-market’.

 Sudlow is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).
