According to Scott Lines, chief executive of award-winning offshore financial specialist LOM Financial, more than 95 per cent of the firm’s new clients are through ‘referrals by our existing clients’. The Bermuda-headquartered firm, which Lines co-founded in 1992, offers custody, investment brokerage, online trading, asset management and corporate finance services to HNW individuals and institutional customers around the world.

As such, Lines spends much of his time advising private clients – including international non-doms and trusts – on discretionary investment management, investment migration and wealth management services. The LOM team provides a ‘total and immersive service’.
