John Portelli joined LOM’s headquarters in Bermuda in 2010 from Toronto’s ScotiaMcLeod and currently serves as director of investments after a 2019 promotion.

One colleague described Portelli to a Bermudian industry publication as ‘an incredibly hard-working professional’, adding that it was ‘a pleasure to watch him build on his accomplishments’.

Portelli is proud of LOM’s offering for global HNWs, calling it ‘a premier asset management firm’ which crossed its $1 billion AuM mark in recent years. ‘[It’s] a monumental achievement, in my opinion,’ he says.
