Rachel Stace was appointed director of private client at accountants Grant Thornton in January 2023 in order to bolster their growing offering to high and ultra high net worth individuals, family offices and trusts.

Based in the company's Oxford office, Stace joined Grant Thronton in 2012 and has always worked in private client, developing a great deal of experience of what their clients require. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax as well as Step.

Grant Thornton as a firm plans to increase their share of the private client market significantly, and Stace anticipates her time as director of private client being 'busy'. The majority of the people she advises are entrepreneurs or involved in family businesses.
