Spear's Review
Fionnuala Rogers has spent more than a decade in art law, with a particular focus on cultural property matters, cross border antiquities transactions and Middle Eastern art and heritage. She trained and qualified at Pinsent Masons, where she spent almost a decade before serving as a lawyer within Constantine Cannon’s art and property law arm.
She founded Canvas Art Law in 2019 where she advises a range of clients, from emerging artists, dealers and international museums. She joined as a member of Blue Shield, an organisation specialising in protecting art in conflict zones, in 2015, before being elected chair in 2020. She is consulted on policy and legislative matters by governments, especially when issues such as trafficking, heritage preservation and sustainability arise.
