For more than 20 years, Butterfield has planned an array of trips for wealthy families – for one group, they arranged a vibrant sports and activity-based tour of Ireland. Butterfield's founder and owner Kathy Butterfield revels in meeting fellow travel 'fanatics.' She has personally designed more than a hundred travel experiences, visited 40 countries and lived in Japan, India, and France among other countries. The unique work of her firm has been featured in Conde Nast Traveler  and the New York-based Travel & Leisure  magazine.
