My passion is whisky, and I’m privileged to share my love for it with people around the world. A proud Scotsman, I co-founded a Whisky Society and created World Whisky Day at the age of 21. Since then, whisky has become my life’s work.

I love to show people there’s more to whisky than they might expect. Serving drams with my own innovative twist has secured my unique reputation in the whisky world. I’ve hosted bespoke tastings on a global level and introduced many to the joy of whisky, including Royals and Ambassadors. As a whisky industry commentator I’ve appeared in documentary films, TEDx talks, and radio. I’m a monthly contributor to Scottish Field magazine and author of the bestselling Pocket Guide to Whisky: Featuring the WhiskyTubeMap.

I’m extremely fortunate to work with a very select network of trusted suppliers, each offering whisky of impeccable provenance and exceptional quality. As a result, my speciality is in sourcing old and ultra rare whiskies, with unparalleled access to exclusive casks (and bottles) of the finest single malt scotch whisky. I take great pride in being able to source casks from birth years, rare casks from closed distilleries, once-in-a-lifetime casks, as well as bespoke bottles that will never be seen on a shelf. I’ve successfully sourced rare casks for a variety of private clients, including Academy Award winners and HNWIs in Forbes and the Sunday Times rich list. I also advise and guide clients on the curation of exceptional whisky collections, and guarantee discretion, privacy and integrity at all times.
