Sven Borho is a founding partner of OrbiMed. With offices across the world and $14 billion under management in 2017, it helped nurture and commercialise some of todays most successful healthcare companies. 

Borho heads the public equity team, having been a portfolio manager for OrbiMed’s public equity and hedge funds since 1993. Borho has played an integral role in the growth of OrbiMed’s asset management activities, starting his career in 1991 when he joined its predecessor firm as a senior analyst covering European pharmaceutical firms and biotechnology companies worldwide. 

Borho, who studied business administration at Bayreuth University in Germany, is a citizen of both Germany and Sweden.
