Simon Atkinson was a solicitor at Forsters and Macfarlanes before joining Currey & Co in 2002. He has spent nearly two decades at the firm, which was founded by Benjamin Currey in 1812, and claims to have since offered personalised and partner-led advice to land-owning and other families throughout the country, ‘some of whom have been clients since the early 19th century’.

Currey & Co says it intends ‘to remain a small partner-led firm’. The partnership comprises nine partners, which brings the total number of partners in the history of the firm to 33. Atkinson has been a partner since 2004.
