Sara Schroter

A dual British and Bermudian national, Sara Schroter is managing director of Meritus Trust Company Limited, a licensed Bermuda trust company regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.

Prior to joining Meritus, Schroter was general counsel and a member of the executive team at Bermuda Commercial Bank and, prior to that, in-house counsel with AXA UK plc. A qualified solicitor, she has a wide range of commercial and legal experience in the private client, banking, insurance, regulatory, corporate governance, commercial and litigation fields.

As well as being Bermuda’s youngest chartered director, she is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Bermuda Bar Association, and STEP Bermuda.
