Pete Moreman spent more than 30 years working in intelligence — the latter half of this time was spent in the online space, looking at ‘how we defend ourselves, but also, how can the internet be weaponised to achieve strategic outcomes at state level?’ He is now one of the directors and co-founders of XCyber, a cyber security firm.

XCyber takes a holistic view when it comes to identifying and dealing with cyber issues, moving away from a perception of cyber as ‘traditional’ security, data and privacy threats, and towards protecting individuals and corporations from the many challenges the digital domain presents, including being defrauded, being impersonated online or having reputational harm inflicted.
