In 2012, Rothschild Trust’s executive vice chairman Paul Stibbard moved from his previous role as head of the Wealth Management Department at Baker McKenzie to set up the new senior adviser platform with the aim of ‘advising clients with complex international planning and structuring needs’.

Under his stewardship, Rothschild - now called Sequent - is now more cemented in key markets than ever. A member of the International Academy of Estate and Tax Law, Stibbard gained an MA from Magdalene College Cambridge and also holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School (not to mention an Islamic Law Diploma from the Islamic College). CEO Stefan Liniger, describes him as having ‘a tremendous profile, and vast experience’.
