Lucy Cawkwell began tutoring during her gap year in 1992, and has since taught over 70 students between five and 18 in subjects from maths and science to English, French and geography. She has experience with pupils of all ages, nationalities and abilities.

Frustrated with the agencies she was working with, Cawkwell set up her own company in 2000 with an aim ‘to provide a discreet, personal service in an industry that’s rapidly becoming overcrowded and reliant on automated online systems’. The team at Osborne Cawkwell Educational Consultants includes a special needs consultant and a mental health adviser, offering private tuition and home-schooling to students from all backgrounds.
