Spear's Review

Hugh Courtenay founded Private Jet Charter in 1990, with all-inclusive packages that will supply a free replacement aircraft if necessary. The market is currently undergoing a 360-degree transformation, he explains, with charter as the favoured option.

‘Owning a private jet is expensive, and not for the faint-hearted’, he says, warning would-be buyers that they need to fly at least 400 hours a year to warrant owning a plane. The end result, however, is worth it.

‘From choosing your flight, to the moment the stairs arrive beside the plane, only the most experienced should be trusted,’ he says. ‘It’s about having something fabulous.’
