Craig Allen leads Julius Baer’s Guernsey investment management offering and also sits on the firm’s branch management board. He is responsible for all of the Swiss bank’s discretionary managed portfolios based on the island and works closely with relationship managers.

Allen joined the bank in 2016 from Credit Suisse where he spent nearly eight years heading its portfolio management business within its Channel Islands and Gibraltar arm, and had ‘served on four different Credit Suisse boards’. He had a stint at RMB Asset Management between 2004 and 2008, before which he began his career as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse’s Guernsey office between 1998 and 2003.

Allen holds a first class BSc (Hons) in mathematics and French from the University of Exeter and is a chartered wealth manager.
