Chris Boon

Chris Boon joined Close Brothers in 1999, helping to establish the asset manager's presence among high-net-worth clients. He was Chief Executive of the Bespoke High Net Worth team from 2000 to 2007 and is now a managing director of wealth management.

The firm successfully steered the firm through Covid-19 with a mixture of keen analysis, raising cash and anticipating the markets to fall, all the time keeping communication open with their investors. The clients were pleased that the firm had 'taken the initiative,' he says.

Boon is now looking forward to strong growth. Close Brothers has been recruiting new investment officers, opening new offices and enlarging its client base organically.
