Regarded by many as an emerging star of the family bar, Trace is regularly instructed in all areas of family law, predominantly financial remedy and private law Children Act matters, including claims under Schedule 1. She has a busy and successful practice conducting her own cases and acting as a junior to the leading silks in her chambers.

Prior to joining 29 Bedford Row (where she successfully completed pupillage in 2014), Trace worked as a paralegal in the family department of Withers LLP assisting on a number of high-value financial disputes, including Tchenguiz-Imerman v Imerman. She is a member of Resolution (and co-chair of London Young Resolution) and the Family Law Bar Association.
