Former intellectual property lawyer Amélie Vincent decided to take her career in a different direction a decade or so ago. She abandoned law for life as a professional foodie, writing a book (150 Restaurants You Need To Visit Before You Die), becoming a ‘tastehunter’ for the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants and hosting a television show in her native Belgium.

She is also the co-founder of Chef’s Travel, a food-centric travel company that specialises in ‘making the impossible possible’. Vincent tells Spear’s that the company ‘has access to last-minute reservations’ at the world’s leading restaurants and can create extraordinary experiences that are only available to the firm’s clients, many of whom come from the world of family offices and private banking.
