Dr Adrian Heini is the medical director of Clinique La Prairie, the award-winning wellness and longevity retreat in Montreux, Switzerland.

Dr Heini is responsible for the direction of the clinic’s revitalisation and detoxification programmes, which target what they have identified as the body’s seven key systems: brain, heart, circadian rhythm, skin, metabolism, immunity and microbiota.

Particularly for patients over 40, Dr Heini believes, when each system is revitalised then the patient will have more energy, flexibility and wellbeing, living a happier and, crucially, longer life.

The clinic is a pioneer of the ‘medical spa’ concept, encouraging clients to stay for a week or two to learn new habits and carry their new wellbeing into their normal lives
