Having completed his psychiatry training in 1997, Dr Hugo de Waal has more than two decades of experience in consulting on mental health issues, and established Berkeley Psychiatrists with the aim of providing exceptional care in the private sector to people with ADHD and autism. 

Dr De Waal now leads a team of very high level doctors in London, all of whom have held or continue to hold senior positions in the NHS or other health services including medical directors, clinical directors and associate deans. Given the time for a one-to-one assessment not always available in public sector healthcare, De Waal and Berkeley Psychiatrists aim to properly assess their patients - children or adults - and help them and their families to understand what living with ADHD or autism might mean.

Dr De Waal is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
