A private client director at Hampden Agencies, Tim Andrews advises ‘names’ at Lloyd’s of London, the ultra-high net worth individuals who provide private capital to underwrite the risks that the marketplace insures.

Starting his career at the Foreign Office, Andrews spent some time in investing before entering Syndicate Research, assessing pitches (known as slips) made to the groups that do the insuring business at Lloyd’s before moving to Hampden in 1999, where he has been ever since.

Andrew, like all Hampden agents, works on behalf of the wealthy families and individuals who lodge part of their wealth with one or more of the 75 syndicates at Lloyd’s, making the process accessible and manageable as part of a balanced portfolio.
