Joseph Gleeson, managing partner at property management firm Footman & Butler, runs a team of dedicated property management professionals, focusing on international families who live in the UK, especially prime central London, for a portion of the year but want their property to be well looked after all year round.

Clients are mainly from the Middle East – including a member of the Saudi Arabian royal household – with a good scattering of Americans. Their homes are mostly clustered around Kensington and the more sought-after regions of west London, with a few venturing north to St John’s Wood.

With the roster of clients kept intentionally small, the focus is on a high level of service.

Joseph has more than 10 years of experience leading multi- and single-family offices in London to manage prime and super-prime properties in London, Paris and the US on behalf of high-net-worth families. With a Masters in Business Administration, Joseph combines business acumen with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to spearhead the day-to-day leadership of Footman & Butler Prime Property Management. 

His role includes leading the management and operations of luxury private homes, from comprehensive property reports to the execution of detailed preventive maintenance schedules. Joseph’s expert team enhances the value of clients’ homes by caring for the properties as if they were their own. Joseph’s knowledgable team seamlessly manages their clients’ properties, taking care of everything from preventive maintenance schedules, housekeeping, sourcing private staff, bookkeeping, to concierge support. Each client has a bespoke package, which has allowed the team to provide a personalised service to each family they support. 

Since joining F&B Prime Property Management, Joseph has managed tens millions of pounds of real estate and developed the company structure and processes, moving the company into a new competitive era. This experience enables him to provide the best service to his clients. A country lad at heart with a second-to-none knowledge of Super Prime London, with a drive to personally develop professionally (MRICS) and academically (a possible doctorate on the horizon), Joseph is also a keen runner, always looking for the next ultra-marathon or extreme event, usually raising money for his chosen charities: NSPCC or Movember.
