David Esfandi, the canny CEO of Canaccord Genuity, says his firm’s recent rash of acquisitions – Adam & Company, Results International, Sawaya Partners and Punter Southall, among others – is now approaching completion.

Canaccord is now concentrating on organic growth and excellence in client service, increasing its number of offices as well as assets under management – already well over £30 billion in 2022 – and adding to its analytical power with smart hires of well-informed, well-connected people.

Esfandi, CEO since 2014, was previously managing director of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with Deutsche Bank.
