Costas Paraskevaides founded AncientArt in 2008, who are a leading purveyor of sculptures and artefacts that relate to antiquity and pre-human history. 

For example, its Chelsea showroom is home to Athenian marble statues, Minoan vases, lunar meteorite fragments and several gogottes, which are intricate natural sandstone formations that originate from the prehistoric sand dunes of Fountaineblue, near Paris. 

Paraskevaides developed a passion for ancient history at an early age and went on to study at the institute of archaeology at UCL. He is a member of both the Antique Dealer Association (ADA) and the International Association of Dealers of Ancient Art (IADAA).
