The London Genetics Centre has a mission to ‘save and improve lives’.

The organisation says that its modelling has reduced cancer deaths by around one-fifth, while its in-house geneticists have undertaken significant research into recessive and carrier genes for different genetic disorders, while sampling other genetic conditions using blood tests.

Its Sloane Street team has five genetic specialists including Professor Ros Eeles, who serves as an honorary consultant in cancer genetics at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, who has researched the different genes which determine outcomes in prostate cancer, as well as Dr Lucy Side, who has authored more than 100 academic articles, and whose research has focused on women’s health.
