With over 25 years’ experience in private and investment banking, Robert Kalff heads up HSBC Global Private Banking’s family office operations. Having joined the bank in early 2022, Kalff’s responsibilities include expanding the division’s UHNW clientele, driving new business development, formulating business strategy and delivering value.

His appointment to the role reflects the bank’s recent emphasis on improving its family office services, particularly through the development of its capital markets and private market capabilities. 

Kalff, who has had prominent roles at banks such as UBS, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank, as well as a long tenure as head of corporate finance and private wealth management partnership at JP Morgan, is at the forefront of HSBC’s mission to provide a bespoke offering for its multitude of UHNW clients.
