Russell Prior, head of family governance, family office advisory and philanthropy for EMEA at HSBC Global Private Banking, often finds himself working with millennial HNWs. According to HSBC research, they have ‘different attitudes’ to their predecessors. They are ‘more driven by making an impact on their communities than [older] generations ... social impact is as important to them as personal wealth. This emphasises the importance of the different generations in families sharing their views and vision of the future.’
